Zuzana Lova was born and raised in Prague, Czech Republic before moving to Los Angeles. She has a background in jazz and hip hop, and specializes in partner dancing, including: salsa, tango, samba, lindy hop, and other styles.
Zuzana began dancing professionally at the age of 17 when she was cast in the hit musical "Grease". After moving to Los Angeles, she danced with Robin Thicke, Kanye West, 30 Seconds to Mars, Chemical Romance, Will.I.Am, Bassement Jaxx, Faithless, Apokalyptika, Ben Harper, and other musicians. She has also appeared in film and television (CSI Las Vegas, True Blood, Nip Tuck, Gilmore Girls), and has performed in fashion shows for Hugo Boss, Adidas, Levis, Reebok, Diesel, and other notable designers.
For Zuzana, dance is a moving meditation. She loves that it provides time and space for releasing our minds and bodies from everyday stress, while allowing us to play. In working with She-Is to support survivors, she has seen first-hand how dance helps people transform their lives by overcoming trauma. She’s witnessed it help girls develop self-confidence, self-acceptance, and self-love. In her work, Zuzana hopes to continue sharing the experience of dance with others so it may help empower their paths to personal awareness, much as it has in her own life.
